Validitity of IEC Certificate

An IEC Certificate is typically valid for a lifetime and doesn't require renewal. However, it's essential to ensure that your business details are up-to-date to avoid any complications during international trade. An annual KYC formality needs to be done every year.


Documents Required

In case of Properietorship Firm:

  • Copy of Pan card of Proprietor

  • Copy of Aadhar Card of Proprietor

  • Cancelled Cheque or Banker's Certificate of Current Bank accounts

In case of Partnership Firm/LLP:

  • Copy of Pan card of Firm

  • Copy of Pan Card and Aadhar Card of Partners

  • Cancelled Cheque or Banker's Certificate of Current Bank accounts

  • Certificate of Incorporation

  • Proof of Address: Electricity Bill/Sale Deed/Rent Agreement/Telephone Bill

In case of Company:

  • Copy of Pan card of Company

  • Copy of Pan Card and Aadhar Card of Directors

  • Cancelled Cheque or Banker's Certificate of Current Bank accounts

  • Certificate of Incorporation

  • Proof of Address: Electricity Bill/Sale Deed/Rent Agreement/Telephone Bill

  • Copy of Pan card of Trust/Society/Sec. 8 Company

  • Copy of Pan Card and Aadhar Card of authorized person

  • Cancelled Cheque or Banker's Certificate of Current Bank accounts

  • Trust deed/Society Certificate/Certificate of Incorporation

  • Proof of Address: Electricity Bill/Sale Deed/Rent Agreement/Telephone Bill
